Chevron, the flooring trend
A chevron, cheurón or cabrio, in heraldry, is a symbol with a V form, usually placed in the centre of a shield. It means protection or inspiration by the ones that act by faith. Is given to the hurted people and it is still a symbol of constancy and firmness, being still today a distinctive feature in military ranks, for example.
Actually, chevron and herringbone are maybe the most populars patterns at wood flooring installation. After a gray period of monotony, this two classics have resurfaced to give a new life to our homes, to give a bit of dynamism and contrast, far away from the large and straight planks, which always try to be more discreet and just show the beauty of wood.
The chevron can be installed on A (original form) o V (inverted), but in most cases both is going to be combined.
